Both kilowatts and kWh are often used in both appliances and generators so make sure you take note of them.


The last known energy measurement to know about is amps, this is a term I’ am sure many people have heard but don’t worry if you don’t quite know what they mean. Amps are a little more complex they measure the movement of electrons through a conductor. Effectively these are what provide the current that powers-up your appliances.
